Job Profile: Sales Officer (Footwear Division)
Location: Field-based (as per assigned territory)
Reporting to: Sales Manager / Area Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Education & Promotion
Educate retailers, wholesalers, and local markets (haats) about our complete product range and new launches.
Ensure they understand product features, benefits, and pricing strategies.
2. Market Feedback & Issue Resolution
Regularly visit retailers to gather feedback and check if they have faced any issues after selling our products.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve any product-related complaints promptly.
3. Dealer & Distribution Network Support
Connect retailers with nearby dealers or wholesalers to ensure smooth supply and availability of products.
Support dealers in expanding their retailer base.
4. Market Research & Analysis
Observe and report what footwear products are currently selling well in the market.
Track local trends and consumer preferences.
5. Advertising & Promotional Material Utilization
Distribute and use advertising materials (banners, leaflets, stands, etc.) provided by the company to enhance visibility.
Ensure proper display and promotion at point-of-sale.
6. Competitive Intelligence
Monitor and report on advertising strategies and promotional materials used by other footwear brands in the area.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification: +2 or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
- Basic understanding of local markets and footwear retail structure
- Honest, proactive, and target-oriented
